Powered wheelchairs & batteries
The part that goes wrong. Battery chemistry and watt-hours decide whether your chair flies, and the rules differ depending on whether the battery can be removed.
Accepted in checked baggage only, and "approval by an airline in advance is essential". The Korean assistance page requires you to contact the reservation centre at least 48 hours before departure; a battery-powered wheelchair may not be taken into the cabin.

Lithium-battery electric wheelchairs are carried in checked baggage only, with prior airline approval and short-circuit protection. If the battery can be detached the chair body goes in the hold and the battery must be carried in the cabin.

Not published — for a non-detachable battery T'way requires prior approval, short-circuit prevention and a secured chair, but states no watt-hour cap.
Not published — a detachable drive battery must travel in the cabin (checked carriage prohibited) but T'way sets no watt-hour ceiling for it; the 300 Wh figure it publishes is for spare batteries.
Spare battery, carry-on only: "1 battery within 300 Wh or 2 batteries which not exceed 160Wh". Spares are prohibited in checked baggage.

"1 battery within 300 Wh or 2 batteries which not exceed 160Wh" may be carried in the cabin — so one spare at up to 300 Wh, or a maximum of two if each is 160 Wh or less.

If the battery can be detached: the wheelchair body goes in the hold (cabin carriage prohibited) and the battery must be carried in the cabin (checked carriage prohibited). If it cannot be detached: the chair goes in the hold with the battery installed, after short-circuit prevention, and only if the wheelchair is fixed.

Not published — T'way publishes no rule for gel / AGM / sealed lead-acid / dry-cell wheelchair batteries; only lithium-battery chairs are covered.
Not published — T'way's mobility-aid battery table covers lithium batteries only; the assistance page merely asks for the "type and number of wheelchair batteries".
Detachable battery: "approval by an airline in advance is essential, in the only case where measures for protection and short-circuit prevention are applied." Non-detachable: "limited only for a fixed wheelchair after taking a measure of short circuit prevention." Spares must be individually packed against damage or short circuit.

Booking & cost

Not published — T'way says nothing about accessible lavatories on any of its aircraft.
Not published — T'way publishes escort to the boarding gate, priority check-in and an on-board wheelchair, but does not say whether staff assist with transferring between the wheelchair and the aircraft seat.
"We operate priority seat services for pregnant passengers with difficulty in moving, pregnant passengers, and infants (less than 24 months old)." Proof of eligibility is required at check-in, the seat may change on the day, and priority seats cannot be requested on some routes — alternative seating is then arranged. Nothing is published about movable armrests.

Worth knowing
The airline still trades as T'way Air: its Customer Center says "T'way Air is beginning a new chapter as 'Trinity Airways'" and that operations under the new name start only once domestic and international approvals are complete, the date to be announced separately — so every page still reads 'T'way Air'. CONTRADICTIONS A HUMAN SHOULD RE-CHECK: (1) the Korean assistance page states the 48-hour prior-approval deadline for powered wheelchairs explicitly, the current English translation of the same page does not — the 48 h figure here comes from the Korean text; (2) the free-baggage page says "Wheelchair with a separated battery. However the battery should be safely packed ... and it should be transported as a checked baggage", while the dangerous-goods page says a detached battery must go in the cabin and is prohibited in checked baggage — the dangerous-goods page is the one that governs; (3) the restricted-items table lists "wheelchair" among cabin-permitted walking aids, contradicting the assistance page's gate-collection procedure. T'way serves Guam (its restricted-items page describes a Daegu–Guam routing via Osaka), so US DOT rules apply, but no Complaint Resolution Official or US disability-assistance page was found. The full-size www.twayair.com content pages render only via JavaScript; the m.twayair.com mobile equivalents (contents/69, /150, /148, /151) serve the same text as plain HTML and were used instead.
