Cargo-only carrier. Silk Way West's own About page states the airline began in 2012 in Baku with "a fleet comprising 14 specialized Boeing 777F, 747-8F, and 747-400F aircraft stationed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport", an "annual cargo turnover surpassing 500,000 tons" and a network of 40+ destinations; every published product (general cargo, live animals, pharma, charters) is freight. There is no passenger cabin and therefore no mobility-aid policy. Distinct from the now-defunct Silk Way Airlines and from AZAL/Azerbaijan Airlines (J2), which is the passenger carrier in Azerbaijan — do not import J2 policy here.
