Freight-only carrier — no passenger service.

Lufthansa Cargo is an all-cargo airline. It carries freight, not passengers, so it has no wheelchair policy. It is listed because this reference is built from IATA's member list, which includes carriers you will never fly on.

Worth knowing

Cargo-only carrier. Lufthansa Cargo's own fleet page states: "The core of Lufthansa Cargo is our fleet. It compromises state-of-the-art Boeing 777F long-haul freighters and Airbus A321F medium-haul freighters and the belly capacities of Lufthansa Passage aircraft" — 18 Boeing 777F, 4 Airbus A321F, plus 2,150 Road Feeder Service trucks. Every aircraft Lufthansa Cargo AG operates is a freighter; the belly capacity it sells is on passenger aircraft operated by OTHER Lufthansa Group airlines (Lufthansa Airlines, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, Discover, ITA Airways, SunExpress). The Partnerships page calls it "Europe's largest air cargo carrier", and Facts & Figures reports the business purely in freight tonne-kilometres. IMPORTANT AMBIGUITY: this record carries IATA designator LH, which is shared with Deutsche Lufthansa AG's passenger operation. A traveller holding an "LH" ticket is flying Lufthansa the passenger airline, not Lufthansa Cargo — its wheelchair policy belongs to the separate Lufthansa record, and nothing here should be read as Lufthansa's passenger policy.
