HelloJets publishes no telephone number at all — not a switchboard, not an accessibility desk, and no TTY/relay. The Contact page lists only a postal address in Bucharest, customercare@hellojets.com and the ACMI address acmi@hellojets.com. The footer's "Assistance" heading is a menu label, not a link: the substantive accessibility text lives in the FAQ and in the conditions of carriage. Assistance itself is booked as an online extra during or after booking.

Powered wheelchairs & batteries
The part that goes wrong. Battery chemistry and watt-hours decide whether your chair flies, and the rules differ depending on whether the battery can be removed.
Electric wheelchairs are named as carriable mobility equipment (up to two pieces, free) but only on 48 h notice, "subject to possible limitations of space on board the aircraft, and subject to the application of relevant legislation concerning dangerous goods". The FAQ makes the battery a case-by-case check: "If you are travelling with your own battery-powered wheelchair, please let us know in advance so we can check whether this battery may be carried on an aircraft, for safety reasons."

No chemistry-specific rule is published; acceptance of any wheelchair battery is an advance, case-by-case decision: "please let us know in advance so we can check whether this battery may be carried on an aircraft, for safety reasons", and mobility-equipment carriage is "subject to the application of relevant legislation concerning dangerous goods". Note that HelloJets separately refuses electric bicycles and any sports equipment using a lithium battery — that ban does not extend to wheelchairs.

Not published. HelloJets only says generally that spare lithium-ion batteries may not go in checked baggage and must be carried in cabin baggage; no wheelchair spare-battery limit is given.

Not published. HelloJets states no number of spare wheelchair batteries; its only spare-battery rule is the general one that spare lithium-ion batteries must travel in the cabin, never in the hold.

Not published for wheelchairs. The FAQ requires electronic devices in checked baggage to be completely switched off (not sleep/hibernate) and protected from damage and unintentional activation, but gives no wheelchair terminal-insulation instruction.

No powered-wheelchair size limit published, and no hold-door or hold-compartment figures. HelloJets warns only that carriage is "subject to possible limitations of space on board the aircraft" and that it may refuse carriage if the aircraft or door size makes it physically impossible.

Oxygen cylinders are banned outright: "Due to safety and security reasons, the transport of oxygen cylinders is strictly forbidden." HelloJets flies B737 and A320 equipment on scheduled, charter and ACMI work; on a wet-leased flight the contracting airline's own accessibility policy will normally govern.
Manual wheelchairs
Up to two pieces of mobility equipment per disabled or reduced-mobility passenger are carried free on 48 h notice. HelloJets attaches two caveats: "possible limitations of space on board the aircraft" and compliance with dangerous-goods legislation. No separate manual-wheelchair rule is published.

Not published — HelloJets gives no in-cabin stowage rule or size for a folding wheelchair.

Not published for wheelchairs. HelloJets promises gate return only for pushchairs ("you can use the stroller up to the plane ... after landing, you receive the stroller after getting off the plane"); it says nothing equivalent about a wheelchair.

HelloJets reserves an EC 1107/2006-style right to refuse a disabled or reduced-mobility passenger "in order to meet applicable safety requirements established by international, community or national law" or those of the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority, "or if the size of the aircraft or its doors makes the boarding or carriage of that disabled person or person with reduced mobility physically impossible". Passengers needing assistance must be at the check-in counter 3 hours before departure even if they checked in online, and may not be seated in an emergency-exit row.
Booking & cost
"You can book the service online when you make the flight booking or add it after, but no later than 48 hours before departure." The conditions of carriage require assistance to be requested for EACH flight segment at least 48 h before that flight's published departure time, and the same 48 h notice applies to carrying mobility equipment and to seating a companion beside the passenger.

Assistance covers people with hearing, visual or cognitive disabilities, people who need or use a wheelchair, and elderly people who need guidance. For a battery-powered wheelchair HelloJets asks to be told in advance so it can check the battery. Questions go to customercare@hellojets.com; no telephone number is published.

"The service is complimentary." The conditions of carriage add that carriage of up to two pieces of mobility equipment, including electric wheelchairs, "is done at no extra charge", and a certified utility dog is carried "without additional fees". HelloJets' Taxes & Fees table lists charges for pets, bikes, sports equipment and hold baggage but no assistance or mobility-aid fee.

"If the airline is announced through a notice given at least 48 hours before the flight that for a person with disability or reduced mobility it is necessary to transport up to two pieces of mobility equipment, including electric wheelchairs, HelloJets will assume their transport subject to possible limitations of space on board the aircraft, and subject to the application of relevant legislation concerning dangerous goods; transport is done at no extra charge."

"If the wheelchairs, other mobility equipment and assistive devices are lost or damaged during handling, during transport on board the aircraft, the passenger to whom the equipment belongs is compensated in accordance with domestic law." HelloJets publishes no sum, no SDR limit and no full-value undertaking for mobility aids. Damage is reported by e-mail to bag@hellojets.com, and a PIR raised before leaving the baggage-claim area is treated as an indispensable part of any baggage claim.

HelloJets excludes "invalids", the sick and people with reduced mobility (and mothers with infants and families with children) from emergency-exit seats. "If a person with a disability or reduced mobility is assisted by an accompanying person, the airline will make all possible efforts to assign seats together, provided a notice is sent to us at least 48 hours before the published departure time of the flight."

Worth knowing
HelloJets is a Bucharest-based B737/A320 operator that sells scheduled seats (Prague, Burgas, Varna) as well as charter and ACMI capacity. Its ACMI wet-lease flights "are operated under the customer airline flight numbers", so on those the contracting airline's own accessibility policy will normally govern; on charter flights the baggage rules "may differ according to the rules requested by the tour operator". What it publishes on mobility is entirely EC 1107/2006-shaped and lives in two places only — one FAQ answer and chapter 10 of the conditions of carriage. Concrete: 48 h notice per segment, assistance free, up to two pieces of mobility equipment including electric wheelchairs carried free, crew help to the toilet, damage compensated "in accordance with domestic law". Missing: every battery number. No watt-hour limit, no removal rule, no spare count, no chair size or weight limit is published — the battery is vetted case by case after you notify them, so get the answer in writing. Two other traps: assistance passengers must be at the check-in desk 3 hours before departure even after online check-in, and HelloJets publishes no telephone number at all, only customercare@hellojets.com.
