Montreal Convention limit — EGYPTAIR's Canada page now states 1,519 SDR (raised from 1,131 SDR between the June 2025 and May 2026 captures); its own baggage-liability page still prints 1,131 SDR. Up to CAD 2,780 on Canada flights under the APPR. No mobility-aid full-value rule published.

Canada page (May 2026): "The liability for Lost, Delayed and Damaged checked baggage is limited to 1519 (Special Drawing Rights) SDRs" plus "up to 2780 CAD" under the APPR. EGYPTAIR's general baggage-liability page still says "up to 1,131 SDRs" — the two contradict. Damage claims in writing within 7 days (21 for delay). Separately, on Canada routes s.61 of the ATPDR obliges a large air carrier to give a temporary replacement chair, repair or replace at full cost, and reimburse expenses.

www.egyptair.com is behind a Cloudflare interactive challenge. Re-tested in full on 2026-07-29 with the upgraded fetcher (--render 25 and --render 40 through the reader proxy, plain direct fetch, http and https, www and bare egyptair.com, and Googlebot / bingbot / curl / empty user-agents): every route returned HTTP 403. No EGYPTAIR passenger page is readable live; the only other host on the domain that answers is training.egyptair.com (the academy site, no passenger policy) and digital.egyptair.com (the check-in app). So all EGYPTAIR content here is read from Internet Archive snapshots of EGYPTAIR's own pages, each cited at its archive URL with the snapshot date. LITHIUM FIGURES RESTORED 2026-07-29 (they had been withdrawn as null). EGYPTAIR's only wheelchair watt-hour figures — 300 Wh whether the battery stays fitted or is removed, and one spare up to 300 Wh or two up to 160 Wh in the cabin — live in a single PDF whose newest archive capture is 12 October 2022 (the 2021-09-28 and 2022-10-12 captures are byte-identical; the CDX index holds nothing after 2022). But the 22 Feb 2026 capture of the Special Assistance page still links that exact PDF (/en/about-egyptair/news-and-press/Documents/split.pdf) as its "For more information" reference for battery-powered wheelchairs, so EGYPTAIR still publishes it — the archive has simply never re-crawled the file. Setting the four facts to null asserted "EGYPTAIR does not publish this", which is false, so 300 / 300 / 300 Wh and spares_allowed 2 are recorded with the 2022 capture date stated in every detail. The current (Jan 2026) Restricted Items page carries no wheelchair watt-hour rule at all — its only battery numbers are a power-bank rule (one power bank of 100 watts capacity, no in-flight use or charging, none in checked baggage), which is a general portable-electronics rule, not a mobility-aid allowance, and has not been imported. Likewise the 100/160 Wh spare figures in the PDF's "Lithium batteries in electronic devices" section are general electronics rules and have not been imported. Wet/spillable batteries are refused outright, and that is confirmed by 2026 captures. CHANGED FIGURE: EGYPTAIR's Canada customer-service page raised its checked-baggage liability from 1,131 SDR (capture of 15 Jun 2025) to 1,519 SDR (capture of 11 May 2026) — the revised Montreal Convention limit — while its own baggage-liability page, last captured 16 Oct 2025, still prints 1,131 SDR. The two EGYPTAIR pages contradict each other; the newer, higher figure is recorded with both quoted. The Cairo PRM procedures PDF is unchanged: the 2021, 2022 and 2025 captures are byte-identical. One live, readable source has been added so this record is no longer archive-only: Canada's Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations s. 61, which binds EGYPTAIR on its Cairo–Toronto service (s. 25 defines a "large air carrier" as one carrying 1,000,000+ passengers worldwide in each of the two preceding years) and requires a temporary replacement chair, repair or full-cost replacement, and reimbursement of expenses when a checked mobility aid is damaged, destroyed or lost. The per-aircraft maximum wheelchair dimensions are unusually tight (A330-300 height 62 cm) and the B787 row is printed as "W 1.01 * H 1.14 Cm", plainly metres — worth confirming with the airline. Egypt–Canada passengers with a power mobility aid must print two copies of an EGYPTAIR form, but the "This Form" links on the Special Assistance page carry no href. The policy_pages and searched_urls keep the live egyptair.com addresses so a traveller can retry them from a normal browser. VERIFICATION PASS 2026-07-29: every archive source re-fetched and its snapshot date re-checked against the CDX index — s1, s3, s4, s5, s6, s7 are each the newest 200-status capture of their URL, and s2 is one of only two captures that have ever existed. www.egyptair.com still returns HTTP 403 on every passenger URL tested (direct and through the render proxy), so nothing could be re-read live. The per-aircraft wheelchair dimensions are published as "maximum dimensions for wheelchairs", i.e. a stated chair limit (basis max_device), not a hold-door aperture; the PRM procedures PDF contains no dimensions at all. Two relay contacts (TTY via 711 / 416-960-0009 and relay 1-800-855-0511) were found on the Accessibility page and added — the record had none.
