Fragments only. Domestic Airlines publishes some assistance information but not a full mobility-aid policy. What is below is everything it actually states. Everything marked “not published” genuinely is — confirm it with the airline rather than assuming the international baseline applies.

Who to contact

Transcribed from the airline’s own pages, exactly as it labels them.

There is no disability desk, no accessibility e-mail, no TTY/relay and no online assistance form. The site prints exactly one telephone number, 021 737 800, and four generic mailboxes. Head office: 168 Rue Hassiba Ben Bouali, Alger, Algérie. Under conditions of carriage art. 8.2 the request must be made when booking, so reservation@domesticairlines.dz or an accredited agent is the practical route. The conditions of carriage point twice to Word documents that would contain the actual rules — 'Conditions d'acceptation des passagers à particularités.docx' (art. 8.3) and 'Bagage à particularité.docx' (art. 9.10) — and BOTH LINKS ARE DEAD: they return HTTP 500 or fall through to the site's catch-all page, with no file served. Art. 8.3 says the same information is otherwise available 'auprès des agents accrédités par le transporteur'.

3 of the unanswered fields below share one explanation: Not published — Domestic Airlines gives no watt-hour figure of any kind. The rest carry their own.

Powered wheelchairs & batteries

The part that goes wrong. Battery chemistry and watt-hours decide whether your chair flies, and the rules differ depending on whether the battery can be removed.

Powered chairs accepted
Not published

Not published — Domestic Airlines nowhere mentions an electric, battery-powered wheelchair or a mobility scooter. Its dangerous-goods page says only that items in IATA DGR table 2.3.A may travel in cabin or hold baggage and that 'certains articles exigent l'approbation de Domestic Airlines', given by a DGR-trained check-in agent; the table itself is not reproduced in readable text.

Lithium-ion batteries
Not published

Not published for wheelchairs. Domestic Airlines states generally that 'Les piles et batteries au lithium sont considérées comme des marchandises dangereuses. En cas d'endommagement, elles peuvent s'échauffer et prendre feu', and that some dangerous goods need airline approval from a DGR-trained check-in agent, but it never addresses a lithium-powered wheelchair.

Not published

No count is published. The only relevant rule is a prohibition: 'Batteries au lithium de rechange' appear on the list of 'Articles interdits en soute' — spare lithium batteries must never travel in the hold. Nothing is said about how many may be carried in the cabin, or about wheelchair spares specifically.

Weight limit for a powered chair
Not published

Not published — no weight limit for a powered mobility aid appears on the site.

Not published — Domestic Airlines does not say where a powered chair is returned.

The dangerous-goods page reproduces the IATA class labels and the prohibited-item lists but presents the operative table (DGR table 2.3.A, which is where wheelchair battery rules live) only as a heading; nothing about mobility aids is legible in it.

Manual wheelchairs

Manual chairs accepted
Conditional

Accepted only under conditions the airline does not publish. Art. 9.10 lists 'Chaises roulantes des passagers' and 'Béquilles, appareils orthopédiques et autres dispositifs pour handicapés' among 'bagage à particularité' whose acceptance 'est soumise à des conditions', with those conditions in a linked .docx that does not load. Art. 8.1 likewise accepts PMR passengers 'sous réserve de certaines conditions'.

How to request assistance
Declare the assistance requirement when making the reservation and in any case at least 72 hours before departure, to Domestic Airlines or one of its accredited agents

Art. 8.2–8.3. No online assistance form and no dedicated telephone line exist; the site publishes one number (021 737 800) and the mailbox reservation@domesticairlines.dz. Charge for carrying the aid
Not published

Not published. Domestic Airlines states only that an assistance dog and its crate travelling with a passenger with reduced mobility are carried free of charge and outside the baggage allowance (art. 9.11.9); it says nothing about whether the wheelchair itself is free, and lists 'Chaises roulantes des passagers' as special baggage whose acceptance is subject to unpublished conditions.

Mobility devices carried free
Not published

Not published — Domestic Airlines does not state how many mobility aids it carries per passenger.

If they damage your chair
17 SDR per kilogram for lost baggage; a DAMAGED bag is compensated at a flat rate equal to the SDR value of just 3 kg (conditions of carriage art. 16.2)

Art. 16.2.1: 'Les tarifs appliqués sont à hauteur de 17 DTS par kilogramme', paid in the ticket currency at the PIR-date rate, within 90 days. Art. 16.2.2: after a Damaged Baggage Report, 'l'indemnisation sera faite sur la base d'un forfait équivalant en DTS de trois (03) kg'; a bag found damaged at check-in is excluded. Art. 16.2.3 caps pilferage at the same 3 kg equivalent. No mobility-aid-specific rule exists, so a destroyed power chair would attract roughly 51 SDR.

Seating & movable armrests
A passenger who cannot use a standard seat may be refused carriage (conditions of carriage art. 7.1.2)

No movable-armrest or accessible-seating policy is published.

Fleet detail. Domestic Airlines publishes no fleet list, no aircraft types and no hold-door or hold-compartment dimensions, so there is no published way to judge whether a chair will fit. Its route network is Algerian domestic and regional (Alger, Oran, Constantine, Annaba, Sétif, El Oued, Ghardaïa, Adrar, Timimoun, Tamanrasset, Djanet, Illizi, El Meniaa, Tiaret), and the company describes itself as founded in March 1998 flying charters and shuttles mainly for the oil sector.

Worth knowing

IDENTITY: this is the former Tassili Airlines, rebranded Domestic Airlines; IATA's own member record still gives the legal name as Tassili Airlines (ICAO DTH, designator SF, Algeria) and the website as www.tassiliairlines.dz/index.php, which timed out from every route tried — the live brand site is domesticairlines.dz, and the booking engine is still hosted at fly.tassiliairlines.com. WHY 'partial': the site is fully reachable and has a long conditions of carriage, but it publishes essentially nothing usable about wheelchairs. Both documents that would carry the real rules are dead links — 'Conditions d'acceptation des passagers à particularités.docx' (art. 8.3) and 'Bagage à particularité.docx' (art. 9.10) both return HTTP 500 or the site's catch-all page. TWO THINGS A HUMAN MUST RE-CHECK. (1) Article 7 lists needing special assistance as a ground for REFUSING carriage: 'Le passager requiert une assistance spéciale au transporteur' (art. 7.1.3), plus 'Personne qui ne peut pas utiliser le siège standard' and a person whose degree of physical infirmity risks complications (art. 7.1.2). Read against art. 8, which accepts PMR passengers 'sous réserve de certaines conditions', this reads as a discretionary refusal power over disabled passengers and should be confirmed with the airline. (2) Baggage compensation for DAMAGE is a flat 3 kg SDR equivalent — about 51 SDR — regardless of the item's value; there is no mobility-aid exception, so a destroyed power chair is worth roughly £50 under these conditions. Also: no watt-hour limits, no chair size or weight limits, no on-board aisle chair, no disability phone line or e-mail, no assistance form, and spare lithium batteries are banned from the hold.
