Powered wheelchairs & batteries

The part that goes wrong. Battery chemistry and watt-hours decide whether your chair flies, and the rules differ depending on whether the battery can be removed.

Lithium-ion batteries

Accepted within a 300 Wh ceiling and only after conditions are agreed with the airline. Belavia adds a restriction of its own: "Belavia-Belarusian Airlines accepts for carriage on its flights only such electronic devices powered by lithium or lithium-ion batteries that are used due a medical or physical disability."
