No dedicated disability line: Amelia routes PMR passengers to its ordinary reservations Call Centre, which is open only Monday-Friday 09:30-17:00 French time. No TTY, relay or WhatsApp channel is published. Note that amelia.fr is NOT the airline - it is an unrelated parked information site; the airline is flyamelia.com (Regourd Aviation group).

Powered wheelchairs & batteries

The part that goes wrong. Battery chemistry and watt-hours decide whether your chair flies, and the rules differ depending on whether the battery can be removed.

CGT art. 5.8.2 allows 'un maximum de deux pieces d'equipement de mobilite par Personne a mobilite reduite, y compris un fauteuil roulant electrique, sous reserve de l'existence d'un espace suffisant a bord de l'aeronef, et sans prejudice de l'application de la legislation relative aux matieres dangereuses' - i.e. subject to there being enough space on the aircraft and to dangerous-goods law. Amelia's fleet includes ATR 42/72 and ERJ 135/145 regional types, so the space caveat is material.

Lithium-ion batteries
Not published

Not published for wheelchairs. Amelia never mentions a lithium-powered wheelchair. Its CGT art. 6.7.1 does list 'Le transport de batterie au lithium de plus de 160 Wh' among items that may not be carried in the hold or the cabin, and the baggage page repeats 'Pas de batterie au lithium de plus de 160 Wh' for bicycles - but neither statement is written as a mobility-aid rule, and no exemption for mobility aids is stated either. Confirm with the Call Centre before travelling with a lithium power chair.

Worth knowing

Amelia is the passenger brand of Regourd Aviation and flies French PSO routes (Paris-Orly - Pau, Clermont-Ferrand) alongside a large ACMI/wet-lease and charter business; its FAQ warns 'Ces informations sont fournies a titre indicatif et sont valables uniquement pour les vols effectues par Amelia' - on a wet-leased flight the contracting airline's policy applies. Its published policy documents and the assistance form are branded 'Amelia International / Amelia' (the group's Slovenian AOC), and some rules are stated for Amelia International alone (e.g. 'Les incubateurs et respirateurs ne sont pas acceptes sur les vols Amelia International'). BIGGEST GAP: Amelia publishes no wheelchair battery rules at all - nothing on wet, non-spillable or lithium batteries, no watt-hour figure, no terminal or removal requirement - even though its own assistance form asks the passenger to declare WCBD / WCBW / WCMP. The only watt-hour number on the site is a blanket CGT prohibition on carrying any lithium battery over 160 Wh (art. 6.7.1), which is not written as a mobility-aid rule; it has deliberately NOT been recorded as the chair limit. Note also that amelia.fr is a squatted, unrelated information site, not the airline.
