The part that goes wrong. Battery chemistry and watt-hours decide whether your chair flies, and the rules differ depending on whether the battery can be removed.

Related capacity limits it does publish: the number of passengers with reduced mobility on a flight "must be no greater than the 49% of booked passengers without reduced mobility or any kind of disability"; the stretcher service runs only on A320/A321 aircraft and cannot be installed on the A320/A321 NEO fleet or on SX-DGC, SX-DGD and SX-DGE.

Worth knowing

Hard limit worth flagging to any power-chair user: AEGEAN refuses wheelchairs with spillable wet-cell batteries outright. Contradiction to re-check with the airline: the traveller-facing Accessible travel guide says a chair "should fold/bend and be equipped with non-spillable battery", while the deeper PRM handling page explicitly accepts lithium-ion chairs (battery removed, carried in cabin, up to 300 Wh, or two up to 160 Wh each). Second contradiction: airport arrival time is given as 120 minutes on the passenger-facing pages but 60 minutes in the internal handling rules on the extra-details page. The same policy is stated to apply to Olympic Air-operated flights. en.aegeanair.com returns HTTP 403 to a direct fetch; all pages were read through a reader proxy.
